RENI AT SCHOOL AND AT MRS. SUSY

The next day at Reni’s school was the reading of new fairy tales. The lady asked Reni, the best student, to start reading first. Reni could see the letters, but she couldn’t put them together.She told to the teacher that she had a bad headache. The lady told Reni to go home. Reni come back and began to diligently learn to read.
In the evening Reni’s parents allowed herto go to Mrs. Susy and Fyfy the pig.
Mrs. Susy told Reni why she had goats.Well, it all started with her sons’s illness when he had a baby. There was contagious diarrhea in the infants and they were treated in the hospital, but unsuccessfully, so that some died.
Mrs. Susy’s son was also taken to the hospital. Mrs. Susy stole her son from the hospital and went with him to another city, wherea famous old man used to heal people with herbs. This man told Mrs.Susy to collet reds of wild sorrel in the meadows, and the blue flowers of yet another plant.He also told Mrs. Susyto give her son a lot of goat’s milk to drink.
That’s why Mrs. Susy bought goats and still has them today. She said: I had cured my Peter at the time, and I didn’t know that I wouldn’t have any more children. See also, Reni, what a pretty face she have from drinking this milk. In fact, Mrd Susy’s face looked delicate and young.
Then Reni went for a walk with Fyfy. And then she came home and learned to put letters together into words and sentences again, and she could read, and go to sleep.
Trolly and Fyfy also feel asleepin theirs lairs and had beautiful dreams.
Elon was already asleep in the hospital too. He didn’t dream of anything, because he was so dumbed down by the medicationhe had to take.

MYSTERIOUS GARDEN, EXOTIC BIRDS

It was early Saturday morning and a gay dog named Trolly barked under Reni’s window: Elon came back from the hospital. In a hour, we will meetat the swan pond. Then dog ran with the news to the outhouse where Fyfy the pig slept withMrs. Susy goats.
When the four of them meet, they decided to take tram number 9 to the last stop and look for Grandma Reni’s garden, which they had seen from the helicopter.
Again, they managed to drive under the last bench, covering themselves with a free blanked lying there.
They walkes more less forward the garden looking around.It was an area of old, large houses with gardens.
And sudentle they heard a strange, unknown singing a bird. Listening ,curious, they walked towards the sound.
After a while, they saw a halh-open gate inthe wall and wen inside.
To they left was a long conversatory with lots multicolored, large exotic birds. Next to it gres two mighty trees
and on the rights in distance they saw an old wooden shed.
There was no man here to say good
morning and to say to him and ask him what kind of place it was.
An owl was sitting on the roof of the conserwatory, and now it began to call and ask: Where did you come from ?
The children told the owl the whole story of their search for grandmother’s garden and their pets nodded in agrement.
‘The owl told them in his counting voice: You are now in the garden of tke old lord who died.He was a very good master of mine. His name was John Side. He had a long beard and very nice voice. Mr. Side raisedme from a blind chick. Mr. John brought thrsr birda in the conversatory from all over the world, because ha was traveler. When he saw an injured bird or chick anywhere he traed him, fed him, and brought here those birds that did not want to leave Mr. Side.
Elon asked: Then whos taking care of them now? And the owl answered: A friendof Mr John, a monkfrom nearby monastery, is coming to us. We call him Joseph. Shall we meet him here?, asked Reni. theowl replied: No,, he was there this morning and won’t be here until tomorrow. Now you are walking around our garden and be sure to look into shed, it has only a closed door.
