TWO FAMILY GATHERINGS IN THE ZOO

It was morning when the barge arrived at the marina by the river near asylum. The horses Figo and Fago helped by the carryingthe load from the barge to asylum. The load was bedsand seats for animals made to the special order of Mr Jeremy. The horses told the other animals that the contractor of the order was a funiture tractoryin the city of St.Magdalene.
Kay the monkey and tigers Mun knew name of this cityas their birthplace, they were born inthe zoo in this city. They would love to go therenowand visit their parents. Mun the tigersaid that his moher was rich. He said to Kay: There is a moat with water in front of my mother’s paddock.Visitors throw coins into this moat and my mom fishes them out and hides them in a hole dug in the ground. Mun not only wanted to see his mom again,he dreamed also that he willintroduce mom to Fyfy the pig as his fiancee and mom will give him money for a wedding gift.
Kay the monkey would love to see his parents, remember they loved him very much. he decided that he and Mum must somehow get on the barge andsail tohe city of St. Magdalene.
The conversation was joined by Fyfy the pig, she was just with Mrs.Susyin asylum. Fyfy said: I’ll ask Mr.jeremy to let us go on a barge to next shipment to this factory. And so that you can visit your parents at the zoo in this city. I’ll talk about it withMrs. Susy ,too.
After much deliberation, Mr. Jeremy agreed to let Kay, Mun and Fyfy at the circus woker sail a barge and visited
the zoo. And they were to send another order to the furniture factory, this time for sofas for animals ang guests for the ballroom of the asylum.On the animal guardian in this escapade Mr. Jeremy appointed Mrs.Kitty, who worked as an usher and accountant in the circus.
Everyone was to return to asylum as soon as possible, along with loading the wardrobesand other animal furniture previously ordered from the factory.
It was very pleasant to sail the barge. You could get to know the new world and surroudings, passing slowly. Listen to fairy tales whispered by the wawes of the river. To look at the night sky full of stars. Inhale the scent or grasses and herbst from coastal meadows. Watch birds and insects fly by barge…
As dawn dawned at the rising sun was above horizon, Mrs. Kitty woke the animals from their slumber. Mr. Jeremy agreead by phone with the director of the zoo that the visits of animals would take place early in the morning before the opening for visitors. The zoo grounds reached the river bank and the barge stopped in front ot the small back gate to the zoo. Mrs. Kitty put collarsonthe animalsand, keeping them on leashes, entered the zoo with them.
A zoo employed led them to a place where there was a cage and an enclosure for a tigress. Kay, Fyfy and Mrs. Kitty waiting outsise and Mum wasable to enter the enclousure where his mother was resting. Mother and son met immediately, crying and happilyhugged each other. Mun told hismom thatthe pig was his fiancee and elled for Fyfy to wave her paw at them. Mum then began to tell his mom everything he had been trough since Mr. Jeremy had bought him and his sister for the circus.
Mrs. Kitty from Fyfy and Kay went to the monkey pavilion alone, the zoo employee explained to them how to get there. When they reached this place, they stood amazed. Tere were shards of broken glass everywhere.
They saw a chimpanzee thrashing around the cage. The chimpanzee ran from the bars to the wall,where it hit its head, then ran again tothe bars. His forehead was smashed and blood was oozing from the wound. Other monkeys watched sadly from begind the glass of their cages. There was no none of the zoo employers.
Kay pulled the leash vioently and Mrs.Kitty from him and Fyfy were right next to the chimpanzee’s cage. Kay shouted: It’s my Daddy! Do you recognize me? And where is my mother?
Mrs.Kitty took off the leash and Kay jumpted infrontot the bars of cage and his dad reached out and they hugged each other, both crying with emotion.
Neanwhile, two employees entered the pavilion to clean up the glass.WhenMrs.Kitty asked what was going on here, a junior employee said: The zoo director borrowed soe monkeys from the zoo inanother country. He borrowed them to be fertilized there, and som eof their children after birth and rearing in our zoo will return to that zoo. You don’t know that the zoo is a buiiness. Here people pay quite a lot ofmoney to watch animals.And infact, it is a legal trade of live commodity.Visitors don’t want to know.This monkey feeding worker ran away from here today scared, we don’t know where he is. This chimpanzee so desperate there because they took his wife and daughter to that zoo for imprenation.
Fyfy didn’t understand everything that the zoo emploeyee wasaying, but she was very scared,she hid under Mrs. Kitty’s skirt. Kay and hisdad contined to embrance each other trough the bars.Kay quietly told his dad about is lifein the circus and the contrution of the asylum and school for animals. He promised to ask Mr. Jeremy to buy chimpanzees,a family from this zoo.
A zoo employee added: My collegaue and I have taken pictures of what happened here and we will go to an independent newspaper to print an article about it. The director of the zoo is well positioned and we dont know if newspaper will dare to print an article about it. Can we take a picture of lady and monkey at the grate?
Mrs Kitty replied: Absolutely not! We are here with a pivate, special mission. Then she briefly talked about the constructionof an asylm and animal school. Fyfy showed herself to employees and waved her paw at them.
A young zoo employee introducent himself: I’m Joe, and this is my collegaue Tommy. Our newspaper wil lwant to write about your asylum. Mrs Kitt gave him her business card and wrote down Joe’s phone number in her notebook.
Mrs. Kitty and Fyfy began to ask Kay to say goodbye to his dad,and thatthey would definitely see eachotheragain. And nowthey have quickly to get to the tiger Mum because they have little time before zoo opens to they visitors. Kay say goodbye to his dad, and theyran after Mun. The tiger waiting for them.He said that his mother was secretly giving him a lot of coins. Mrs. Kitty put the money inher purse and said: I’ll count how much is it later. And now let’s quicky get back onthe barge and sailed away.
At the furniture factory, the cabinets were loaded onto thebarge and Mr.Jeremy’s new order was received. The barge turned I’dofthe river bank and headed forthe asylum. It flowed slowe, laden. More engines hat to be turned on also because they wereno swimming under the river presses, and not before, when they were flowing with the currentof the river. Finally, they reached the harbour in front ot the asylum and went to the asylum with relief .While still on the barge, Mrs.Kitty counted money fromMum’s mother. She said that this is the amount for which you could buy a small car. Mun agreed to let Mrs.Kitty keep the money in her ffice and asked her to enroll Kay in a driving course because only Kay can read for now. Mun and Fyfy have to go to school quickly.Kay was happybut add that he also has to learn in school because he can’t write and count.
Fyfy ran to Mrs.Susy amd wept and told her everything that had happened at the zoo.Mrs. Susy comforted Fyfy that Mr. Jeremy would definitely come upwith something for the benefit of Kay’s family. Goats Mrs.Susy product would now Fyfy rest in their house and calm down.
Mrs. Susy ran to Mrs.Kitty’s ofice to take care of Kay. Mum the tiger wnt looking for his sister to tell her about the meeting with mother.
